Power-lines thru the trees idea
This is on El Camino Real in Burlingame (City of Trees) CA, kind of around the corner from where I live. You see the nice big tree is hacked out to allow the power lines though. Ugly; but the piece will strive to show urban tree beauty!
Pictures below are first an attempt at drawing what I have in mind, then three photos of the tree and power lines and area that inspired it.
Check this concrete page (same site) too - may have to build a special pot for it.
So far I think I want to have one pole with wires slacking down and out in both directions but kind of just hanging in space (to edge of pot). Have to get something very strong for this. Also don't want someone to poke out an eye while viewing it.
